The Roman cope is made with Winchester brocade damask (100% viscose) with its panels and hood in Italian Floral Brocade (75% viscose, 25% silk). Available in all liturgical colours. The cope hood is made in the shape of a shield, with a small metal bullion tassel at the centre. The cope can be decorated with gold or silver wavy gallons. The cope shape is cut in the roman style, and the standard closure is an ornate gold/silver-plated clasps on two squares patches.
Lined in cotton and supplied with a matching Roman stole.
For the cope closure, it can also be made in the traditional hidden hooks and eyes style on a rectangular patch. Please contact us after ordering to request this closure.
