"Sacred Heart" hand-embroidered Appliqué / Applicazione "Sacro Cuore"

This application features the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which depicts a golden heart with a cross, burning with loving flames, pierced by a crown of thorns and bleeding. This traditional symbol shows the infinite love of Jesus in His most Sacred Heart. 

The sacred heart embroidery is laid upon a sunburst motif that is hand-sewn with gold or silver-plated sequins and bullion yarns. 

It is completely made by hand embroidery in traditional French technique by our skilled embroiderers, with authentic materials of metal bullion yarns, metal shapes and sequins. 

The application is attached on a backing fabric cut around the rays, and can be attached by hand-stitching to vestments and altar textiles.
