The Roman-style humeral veil is made of Italian silk damask (37% silk, viscose and metal), with a machine embroidered eucharistic symbol in the sunburst IHS form in gold or silver threads. It is bordered with narrow wavy gold or silver gallons, and features a pair of ornate gold or silver-plated clasps. Lined in cotton.
A pocket is sewn into the lining for the priest's hands.
