This Solemn Mass Set is made with folded chasubles and broad stole in the Philip Neri cut in Damask with floral brocade inserts.
The Basic Solemn Set includes the priest chasuble, two folded chasubles and a broad stole. All the required pieces are also included: one priest's stole, one deacon's stole, three maniples, chalice veil and burse.
There is also the option to add a matching Roman Cope and/or Humeral Veil to the Basic Solemn Set.
If only the folded chasubles and broad stole are required, it is also possible to order the Folded Chasuble Set, which is without the priest's Low Mass Set.
This set can be made in purple, roman purple or black; with gallons in gold or silver. This model can also be made in damask or brocade fabrics alone.
If preferred, the folded chasubles can be made in full length and folded in front, instead of the truncated version shown.
The folded chasubles (planetae plicatae) and the broad stole (stola latior) are worn by the deacon and sub-deacon in the traditional mass in place of dalmatic and tunicle on days of fasting and penance, such as Lent, Advent and Holy Week.
These are made to order, requires around 4-8 weeks for manufacture.
