The Roman cope is made with Winchester brocade damask (100% viscose) with its panels and hood in Italian Floral Brocade (75% viscose, 25% silk). Available in six liturgical colours (red, green, ivory, purple, Marian and black), or in a panel of contrasting colour. The cope can be decorated with gold or silver wavy gallons. The cope shape is cut in the roman style, and the standard length is 140 cm from the back. Please let us know the required length when you order.
Lined in cotton and supplied with a matching Roman stole.
The cope closure is usually an ornate gold-plated clasps on two squares patches. Alternatively, the traditional hidden hook and ring closure on a rectangular patch can also be produced. The clasp patches are bordered with gold wavy gallons.
