This traditional burse is for a minister to carry the Blessed Sacrament in a small pyx.
It is made of Winchester damask in ivory (100% viscose), interlined and lined in cotton/linen on the inside. On the front, there is a machine-embroidered ornate cross motif in gold and the burse is decorated with gold lace gallons around the border.
This burse measures 10 cm x 10 cm in size, it features a neodymium magnetic button for secure and easy closure, a gold-plated titanium-steel chain for easy wearing around the neck, where the pyx will be held at the pectoral level. It is also possible to place the burse inside the shirt pocket (if the shirt pocket allows it to fit). A carefully hand-crafted item for durable use.
Optional add-on: A special small size corporal (25 cm square, pure linen) can be added which will fit into the burse when folded up.
The size should fit most pyxes used for carrying the Blessed Sacrament to the sick. This would be a very useful and beautiful gift to a priest or a deacon.
